Conservation Management Plans
Conservation Management Plans are now universally accepted as the best way of managing large sites of cultural importance. Conservation Management Plans (CMP) and Conservation Statements, more rapid assessments, are useful for any organisation or responsible owner caring for the historic environment. They are most commonly associated with applications for Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grants but are also occasionally required by local planning authorities for complex or large sites with multiple heritage assets.
